NEW YORK (AP) — The NFL pay top will increment by around 6 percent in 2019 to a limit of up to $191.1 million for each group, the alliance reported Tuesday.
The 2018 top is $177.2 million. Next season’s top will be “in the scope of $187.0 million to $191.1 million,” the association tweeted.
The pay top has expanded by generally $10 million for each season since 2013, when it was $123 million. “Another indication of the NFL’s proceeded with progress and development,” class representative Brian McCarthy tweeted in the declaration.
Player pay rates are attached to alliance income under the aggregate bartering understanding, and proceeded with income development could be a staying point in transactions over another CBA. Players get under 50 percent of class income under the 10-year work bargain marked in 2011.
